Moving in a Livable Region

Role: Communications Manager

Moving in a Livable Region (MLR), an initiative of the SFU Centre for Dialogue, was a broad consortium of community groups, industry, and local governments towards sustainable transportation funding for the Metro Vancouver region. It was assembled in 2013 in advance of the transportation funding plebiscite. Consortium members met regularly over a period of three years to share information, coordinate, and engage with key decision-makers on regional transportation.

Moving in a Livable Region also provided the education campaign for the referendum campaign, which included a series of events and an educational website. Read MLR’s final report.
